FITC Amsterdam February 25th and 26th 2008
Want some creative input this winter? FITC is coming to Amsterdam, Europe late February with a great looking speaker lineup of both fresh and old talent.
The first FITC conference in Europe will be two full days, February 25th and 26th 2008. The location will be the Felix Meritis, European Centre for Arts and Sciences. The speakers looks to be a nice mix of new and old talent. An old favorite such as James Peterson will be back on the conference arena with a session called "Modulating A Lot, A behind the scenes peek into the imaginary world of Presstube & friends".Joa Ebert's "Chop the Hydra!" will be one of the first chances to see what Hydra can offer in terms of speed and use. Joa was the first outside Adobe to post his own Hydra filters and having seen him at FlashForum Cologne last year, we know he's a great speaker. Other speakers include Jared Tarbell, Hoss Gifford, Colin Moock, Marco Casario, Aral Balkan and many more. Mike Downey and Lee Brimelow from the Adobe evangelist team will present as well. The sheduale looks a bit tech-heavy, but there's several creative sessions as well.
The day before the conference there will be 3 workshops as well. There will be one on AIR and one on Flash Video, but the third one is sure to be sold out first: The core Papervision3D team (John / Carlos / Ralph / Tim) will do a full day workshop on Papervision3D - the first in Europe.
