Adobe Mobile Gallery
Nice showcase application by Adobe that allows you to browse existing Mobile applications and gizmos created in Flash Lite. The app itself has some usability problems, but it's a good showcase all in all.
The Adobe Mobile Gallery is a great link to send to clients that want to see examples of what Flash on the mobile is capable of. The showcase is kind of thin on the business side, but it's filled with entertainment and games. The content varies by quality and examples like the "Mobile Ocean" screensaver is so pixelated and poorly animated that it emphasize that Flash Lite isn't the same as Flash on the desktop. Other examples content such as "Thunder Squadron: Orbit Defense" by the DesignAssembly really blows you away. Well worth checking out.
Ironically, this app is also a good showcase of poor usability in a Flash app. Initially, phones zoom by and they don't stop if you hover over the app to click one. Once clicked, you can't start the "zoming" again, you'll have to wait for it to start by itself or click one of the main sections. The zooming phones are never preloaded either, so the user will see a lot of preloader animations even if they are on a fat DSL line. Kind of foolish since it would be really easy to preload the next zoom while the other one was playing. Designwise it would also look a lot better if the app had the same with as the content area so there were no white areas on the sides of it.
