Breeze 4.0 announced

Macromedia recently announced that version 4.0 of the Breeze presentation server is soon arriving.

Macromedia's Breeze presentations are really a joy to view. Navigation is easy and they're by far much better than just a standard PowerPoint presentation. That said, PowerPoint is actually one of the tools you can use to author your Breeze presentation, but Breeze adds a host of new possibilities. Live presentations may even include a video stream of the presenter and audio/video/text chat possibilities.

Among the new features you'll find the ability to conduct instant polls while presenting and file transfer capabilities. Recorded meetings are now indexed and searchable, along with presentations stored in the content library. New customization options include a brandable user interface and custom pods for data display or new functionality.

Breeze is not your average software that you just download and install. Breeze is usually delivered as a hosted service you subscribe to. Breeze is expected to be available in trial, hosted, and licensed versions in March. Hosting prices start at $84 per concurrent seat per month.
Big corporations may want to go for a license. These start at $22,500 for 25 concurrent seats and scale upward based on additional users and additional options.
