Flash 9 Professional Preview

Want to play with AS3 without learning Flex 2? Adobe has released an 'update' that will allow you to export to AS3 and Flash Player 9 from within Flash 8 Professional.

It's actually kind of odd to extend an existing tool with new export capabilities and say that it is a preview of tool? The only thing this updater does is enabling AS3 and FP9 export, so that's the only bit of Flash 9 that you will be able to preview. No matter what, this is a great opportunity to play with the new features in a IDE you already know.

The updater is available to registered users of Flash 8 Professional only.
