Today, Adobe released the final version 4.5 of both the Flex SDK and the Flash Builder tool, allowing developers to easily target both iOS, Android and Playbook devices. Now it's easier than ever to get your Flash-based application out on Android Market, BlackBerry App World or Apple's App Store.
The update has been available as a beta on Adobe's Labs site for some months already, but today the software is officially available. Read more about the launch at the official Flash Platform Blog and make sure you check out this nice collection of examples that Thibault Imbert has put together. This update contains AIR 2.7 AIR 2.6 for Android and Playbook and AIR 2.7 packager for iOS, offering massive speed updates to Flash authored content.

Wow! That’s kind of clumsy, isn’t it? I’m guessing that update will come soon though since the SDK is out already. Good catch!

The update is to version 4.5.1: Fb and Flex SDK.
This update does *not* contain AIR 2.7 SDK. Though it does include the AIR 2.7 iOS packager - to will give the performance increase on that device.
Hoping there will be another update soon.
