Flash Studio Pro v2 for Pocket PC announced

Multidmedia just launched the worlds first projector tool for the Mac OS and now they have another first: a projector tool for the Pocket PC.

Flash Studio Pro v2(FSP2) is a Flash projector tool - a software that enables you to do much more than you usually can just with Flash. Using a projector tool, you can interact with the operating system in ways that are usually not possible. Things like changing screen resolution, opening dialogues, browse for files and write to them, changing the desktop, grabbing screenshots and much more.

FSP for the PC has more than 650 such commands. The Mac version has about 100 and the upcoming Pocket PC version will have about 150. Flash Studio Pro v2 for Pocket PC will let you build and deploy Pocket PC Applications using Macromedia Flash or another SWF creation application with scripting support. Flash is already used in several big companies for rapid prototyping and this could become one of the fastest ways to create PPC applications. (Now if only Macromedia could improve the speed of the PPC Flash Player...)
