FlashBelt 2004: Minneapolis Flash Con
FlashBelt is a Flash conference taking place this June in Minneapolis, MN, USA. The mission of FlashBelt is to bring together flash developers and enthusiasts in the Midwest to share knowledge, inspiration and build community.
2004 is FlashBelt's inaugural year and an event of its nature is long overdue in the region. The core of the daylong event will consist of local and international authors and developers presenting on a wide range of Flash topics including the latest technical capabilities and applications of Flash MX 2004, RIA development, Actionscripting, the finer points of communication design, and working with sound a video in Flash.In addition to the experts heard on the presentation stage, there will also be several exhibitors including software and hardware manufacturers, publishers, and service providers. In the Talent Pool local freelancers will show off their work and explain their services. In the Student Feedback section students will spot their laptops and interact with the attendees to get (or give) pointers.
