FlashCom Server Components released

Macromedia has released the first components for their Communications Server, updated the documentation and the Answers Panel inside Flash MX.

The Components are ment for the server and is mainly for those used to tinker with code. The components are SimpleConnect, PeopleList, ConnectionLight, UserColor, Chat, SetBandwidth and AVPresence. They can be downloaded from the FlashCom support pages. If you're a non-programmer, don't despair. You don't need these to play with the FlashCom Server.

The documentation that came with Flash MX has been updated and a full pack of new docs can be downloaded from the Macromedia website. The update includes additions of new system settings, camera and microphone object, localConnections and SharedObjects. There's also docs on how to create Components, E-Learning Content, Multilanguage Text, the drawing API and the new features of Flash Player (6r40).

Also: Press the update button on your Answers-panel inside Flash MX. This will force an update that will include the latest resources from the Des / Dev center, as well as the current Macromedia Site of the Day.
