FlashPluginSwitcher

Here's a nifty tool for developers in need of testing their sites on several player versions! FlashPluginSwitcher lets you switch among any Flash plugin installed on your machine.

Once a site is ready to be deployed (or maybe even during development), you'll usually want to test it with older plugins to make sure it all plays nicely. To do so, you'll need an archive of old Flash plugins and a lot of patience installing and removing these players.

Here's a tool that will make your life easier. Using FlashPluginSwitcher, you can switch among plugins in just seconds. You don't even need to uninstall when switching as that is done automatically. Just highlight the version you want and click install. The tool allows for switching not only the player used in the Browser, but also the standalone player and the IDE player used inside Flash. It even has a command-line version (if you want to automate) and logs the switching so you know what versions you've already tested.
