It's been a LONG time in development, but Macromedia Flex is finally here. Previously codenamed Royale, this is Macromedia's principle weapon in it's push to legitamise Flash as the defacto presentation layer for business web applications.
Squarely aimed at enterprise programmers, the Flex presentation server provides a standards based Flash front end to any existing J2EE or .NET application server.Our resident RIA gurus, Steve and Ali from iteration::two, will have a great article for us later in the week that promises to answer all your questions on Macromedia Flex!
