Macromedia University

Macromedia has teamed up with online training provider ElementK to deliver online trainig for Macromedia products.

The training appears be taken directly out of Macromedia's existing material, as it has almost identical structure to Macromedias official training. The benefit here is that it's all offered online, played back with Macromedia's ShockWave technology.

How professional is The Macromedia University? Well, as they have a Macromedia certification, they'll teach you all the basic stuff. One should however expect that these professionals knew how to preload the images on their front-page, but that can happen to any webdesigner on a bad day... They also offer A+ Certification: Navigating DOS Windows v3.x in their web professionals program. This really makes us trust that they know what a web professional is?

All in all, this is propably a smart concept that will make it possible for people in hard to reach-places to get Certified Macromedia training. It's also interesting to notice that Adobe launches it's Online Education Resource the same day.
