More IE 5.5 integration

Internet Explorer 5.5 can now, through custom Extensible Markup Language (XML) tags, precisely configure and control the Flash 5 Player.

Its almost 5 months ago since Bill Gates showed off the first integration parts between IE 5.5 and Flash. Macromedia has taken the integration even further with the new Flash 5 player.

Colin Moock is quoted in the Macromedia press release saying ...developers will be able to access and manipulate Macromedia Flash content in Internet Explorer 5.5 as easily as any DHTML layer..

Now we are hoping for Macromedia will quickly follow up by releasing the sorely needed Flash 5 player for Netscape 6.
