Moxi got Flash

A new home entertainment unit was launched during CES this year. Moxi has everything you can think of for your home entertainment system, and Flash

The unit is a Digital cable or satellite receiver, Digital Music Jukebox, Personal Video Recorder, DVD Player and act as a Cable/DSL Modem and Internet gateway with a built in firewall to protect you against hackers. And to top it all off, it has multi-room access. And if that doesn't make you want to go out and buy it right away (right after you have bought the new iMac :-), the final reason is that it will support Flash!

In the press release from Macromedia, Steve Perlman - founder, president and CEO of Moxi Digital says:

The Moxi Media Center is the first platform to allow cable and satellite providers and content companies to utilize the user interface as a marketing, branding and entertainment vehicle. By integrating Macromedia Flash into our advanced platform, we're able to accelerate the development of our applications in addition to offering our partners the ability to easily create rich, customized experiences for their subscribers
