OFLA Online: The First Online Open Source Flash Conference

Couldn't make it to MAX to learn about the new stuff? Here's a free and open alternative: The first Open Source Flash conference with 7 online sessions about Open Source technologies for Flash.

The conference will start at 18:00 GMT tonight, so make sure you drop by OSFlash.org this evening. It's a rare chance to learn about Open Source tecnologies such as MTASC (Command-line Flash compiler), RED5 (Flash Communication Server alternative) and several other projects. To learn about the technologies before attending the conference, you could read up on the latest developments in the Open Source community right here. OSFlash founder Aral Balkan has a great column on Flashmagazine called OSFUN.

Mike Chambers from Macromedia has provided the Breeze account for the conference. This will be an interesting event to Macromedia also. Not only for the content, but probably also for testing Breeze with a big audience.
