Playing back Flash Lite content on your mobile phone just got easier. The latest version of Opera's browser for mobile phones and devices now ships with Flash Lite 3 support.
For a small downloadable browser, Opera Mobile is incredibly fully featured. Flash isn't the only cool bit of the browser: just check out this list of standards supported: HTML 4.01, XHTML 1/1.1, XML 1/1.1, CSS 2.1 and 3 (partial), CSS MP1.1, DOM Level 2 and 3 (partial), Javascript 1.5, AJAX, wap, cHTML, SVG Tiny and more. Not bad if you compare this to the crappy browsers that phones from SonyEricsson and certain others ship with.
We're also curious if there is a possibility to turn Flash Lite easily on and off while browsing. Unless you have an unlimited data plan, you probably don't want to download all the Flash based ads when checking the latest news from your mobile.
