Papervision3D Public Beta

Papervision3D Public Beta

By now, you've probably seen several examples of 3D using Flash and Papervision3D. Now everyone can try it as the Papervision3D project moves to public beta.

We've written about Papervision3D (PV3D) before and it just keeps getting better. This was initially a very promising private project made by Carlos Ulloa. Carlos decided to make the project Open Source and there are now more contributors to the project. Last month, the project got some (maybe) unexpected support from Adobe that had integrated new low level features in an upcoming version of the Flash Player (mip-mapping) that makes PV3D files look even better!

PV3D is released under the MIT Open Source license, which means it is absolutely free for any commercial use.
