Quicktime 5 do Flash

Apple released the public preview of Quicktime 5 today. As expected QT 5 supports Flash 4 for multimedia content.

Quicktime 5 is scheduled to be released early next year.

Other news in the early public preview is support for MPEG-1 video, Shoutcast MP3 streaming, better streaming with a function Apple calls Skip Protection, Enhanced DV codec, Cubic VR (360 degrees) and much more.

Unfortunalty the public preview is only available for Mac right now. No date has yet been set for the release of the Win Public Preview version, but Apple says it will be released by the end of this year.
