RIAJobs.org launched
This evening, Peter Elst officially launched a new pet project, a site offering job listings for the entire RIA community. It's free to use and covers not only Flash and Flex, but also other technologies such as AIR, AJAX, Gears, JavaFX, Silverlight as well as Web 2.0 in general.
RIAJobs is a nice addition to existing resources such as the FlexJobs list on Yahoo or FlexJobs.in as it also focus on non Adobe technologies. The site offers free listings for the key RIA technologies as well as a simple API that allows you to make widgets that display the job listings for your area of expertise. Peter also promises more developer focused features coming soon as well as the ability to get more exposure through ads on the front page. He also mentions future additions such as a freelancer database as well as an AIR application that allows you to set up notification for any specific job description, location, etc.
At the moment there are only a few Flash jobs listed, but expect this site to boom with jobs soon. If you're looking for a job, subscribe to the site's RSS feed to stay up to date.
