SOLReader - shared object reader
With the introduction of Macromedia Central, chances are that you'll make more use of Shared Objects in your Flash movies. Here's an easy way to inspect and display info about sites you've visited lately.
Alessandro Crugnola *sephiroth* has made a small and niftty program for browsing and deleting shared objects. All the information in the Shared Object is decompiled into human readable form. This comes in handy for debugging, but it is also a nice privacy-tool.Every time you access a website with a Flash file, the Flash Player will (depending on your settings) write a small file to disk that tells the Flash privacy settings for exactly that site. By browsing this directory, you can see your own browsing habits, and so can anyone with access to your machine.
The location of this folder on Windows XP is
C:Documents and Settings{username}Application DataMacromediaFlash PlayerThe user name will vary from machine to machine, depending on what user is logged in. The "application Directory" will have another name if your OS is localized. The folder is hidden by default, so you will have to turn this feature off in Windows Explorer to see the folder.
