SUSHI Multiuser Server Version 2.2 released

SUSHI Multiuser Server is now in version 2.2 and it looks really solid. If you want to make chats or multi-user games in Flash, this is a tool you should check out.

SUSHI is made for games from ground up and features such as plain or avatar chats with room and group support, bots and transferring game data. You can also use these features to create multiuser applications. The examples look great and the trial download will allow for up to 30 free users - more than sufficient for testing purposes. If you don't know Java, Rawfish Software (the makers of SUSHI) can also help you with setting up and hosting the software.

The Java-based software is available for Linux, OS X and Windows servers and the documentation looks solid. There's fully documented Flash client APIs in both AS1 and AS2 and there is also Mobile APIs for FlashLite 1.1 and Java Clients (J2SE/J2ME). The docs also feature an impressive collection of tutorials, guides to getting started, how to fix common problems such as firewall issues as well as source files.
