The Human Locator using Flash

Personal ads - you saw them in Minority Report. Though not entirely true to the concept from the movie, The Human Locator is certainly cool use of Flash in advertising.

Remember Tom Cruice running away in Minority Report? Anywhere Detective John Anderton went, interactive ads served up personalized ads based on a chip inside his head. We're not there yet (and thanks for that), but a cool new system called The Human Locator is capable of serving up personalized Flash ads to bypassers.

The Human Locator is a hardware for tracking people moving across an open space. Based on the tracking data, you can use Flash to display ads to each person. The Flash ads may use the peoples position as inputs to control animation. This product obviously has uses far beyond advertising. Just imagine this as part of a well built art installation or maybe even as a multiplayer game controller?
