Toon Boom Releases Studio Express 4

Toon Boom Studio Express 4 is a great update to a cheap and easy to learn animation package that packs more than 30 new features. The new version has an updated and rearrangeable interface, new drawing styles and effects as well as updated animation tools.

About two years ago, Flashmagazine reviewed Toon Boom Studio. The Express version is simpler than it's sibling, but a great entry level animation package at only $99.99. If you're looking for a simple tool for kids to learn animation, this is a good alternative. If they love to animate, you'll have an upgrade path to the full version. Calligraphic line styles for a unique animation look
