Two new ASV utilities

Burak has released two new addons to ActionScript Viewer (ASV) - a Shared Object viewer and a MXP Viewer/Extractor.

Ever wondered how websites are using the Flash Players Local Shared Objects? The answer is: pretty much like browser cookies are used. Local Shared Objects (SOL files) can hold any kind of programmatical information about you. Things like counters that keep track of how many visits you've made to a site, the number of free games you've played at a casino site and a lot of other personal information. The Flash Player let's you easily remove such information by turning on/off the storage of such information, but viewing it can't be done by conventional means. Using this extension to ASV, you can now both view and edit all the data stored as Local Shared Objects on your machine.

The MXP-viewer will let you open packaged Macromedia extensions. We' are not sure why you would want to view the contents of these, but we guess it's one of those "nice to have" features.
