Flash Community site Ultrashock has (finally) gotten a makeover. It's looking really fresh and the new site is also Flex based (except for the forums).
There's been talk of the Ultrashock.com redesign for many years. Now it's finally here and it's looking really good. The site has a new system that allows you to shop for royalty free images, sounds, vector illustrations and FLAs (much like Flashden.net) as well as community blogs. The site is done using Flex and supports deep linking and browser buttons/navigation. The site is still "beta" so if you have the debug version of the Flash Player, you can safely "dismiss all warnings". It looks really slick though and this could be what is required to revitalize this classic site. Lee Brimelow just did an interview with Patrick Miko, Ultrashock CEO - worth checking out to get a quick overview of the new features.
