Zoomifyer Flash

Zoomifyer Flash is a client/server tool that will let users zoom images live on the web. Want to try zooming a 1.2 Gigabyte (!) image in Flash without getting any RAM problems? You can do that live on the Zoomify website.

Zoomify has been available for a while, but the Flash client is new. Zoomify can also be used with Java, QuickTime and it's own ActiveX plugin. With the addition of the Flash client, millions can play the Zoomify content without downloading anything.

Not too much else to say about this product, but it's facinating demos on their website. The zoomed images load fast and it's a good example of a graphical web application done in Flash.
