MAX is the venue where the big Adobe news are announced and all the product teams are gearing up to tell what they've been working on such as AIR for mobile and devices, Flash Player 11, FlaCC, FMS 3.1, Flex 4, Thermo, Pacifica, Cocomo, Genesis and Centaur. This is our summary of what the 5000 attendees are likely to see at The Moscone Center in San Francisco.

Adobe just notified us that they've set up a special program that for a limited time, will let you upgrade from Adobe CS2, Adobe CS1, Macromedia Studio 8, Studio MX 2004, or Production Studio to CS4 for the same price as an upgrade from CS3.

Today, Adobe opened up for downloading trial versions of Flash CS4. If you want to try CS4 to see if it's worth the upgrade, you can do so now. It's a hefty download though, so make sure you have a fast connection. Also - Keith Peters gets ready to kick off the 25 line Actionscript contest where you can win a free copy of an Adobe CS4 Suite.

After 3 years with the current design it was time for an update. So much has happened in terms of computer screens so the new design is a much wider one and features high resolution images, ratings, commenting, user profiles and more. We've also finally managed to integrate a little Flash into the design by using sIFR3 for all the titles.

One year ago, Italian Flash programmer Emanuele Feronato started an experiment - was it possible to make money from making Flash games just for fun or as a hobby? The experiment has been a huge success earning Emanuele $9413, jobs, recognition and more.
