Adobe released a beta update for the Flash 9 player that fixes a few bugs and adds some new features.
This update, which is currently a public beta, fixes several bugs and adds a couple features including the ability to go fullscreen. This feature can be launched in AS2 or AS3 and has to be activated by either a mouse or key event for security reasons. Once in fullscreen mode, key events cannot be captured . Another thing to note if you want to start working with fullscreen is that you have to add a new parameter to both the object and embed tag called allowFullScreen.
