Did the ski season end too early? Want to go hiking on northern Europe's highest mountain? Want to learn the latest about Flash Player 10.1 and Android? Flash User Group Norway puts on a FlashCamp offering some serious high altitude Flashing 11-13th June.
This summer, Flash User Group Norway (FUGN) will put on a two day miniconference called GotoAndSki. The conference will take place 11th – 13th June 2010 at the classic summer ski resort Juvass Hytta, at the foot of the highest mountain in Northern Europe – Galdhøpiggen.
The basic plan is to spend the days outdoors, meet peers, ski, snowboard, hike and network. After dinner at Juvasshytta, the conference program will start with three one hour sessions each evening. The first day of the event, there's also a full day Away3D workshop that is free to all attendees and the conference lineup is a good mix of local and external talent. Adobe's Mihai Corlan (Romania) will cover authoring for Android using Flash Pro CS5 as well as advanced bug hunting. Richard Lord will join from the UK for a session on application frameworks such as Robotlegs, Swiz, Parsley and Spring Actionscript and what to use when. With Chris Pelsor presenting on DIY Methodology/Agile, Thomas Nesse Flash & Phidgets and finally Jens Chr Brynildsen (myself) covering development IDE's the stage is set for a special kind of Flash Fest. What are you waiting for? Pack your board and join us for the first gotoAndSki FlashCamp!
Note: All sessions will be in English and there will be Airboards in the slopes!
