Wildform have entered into a cross-licensing deal with On2 Technologies, the company that created the video codec that will be in Macromedia Flash 8. This gives On2 access to an already established customer base when Flash Player 8 arrives this autumn.
Wildform and On2 Technologies, Inc., creators of advanced video compression technologies have entered into a cross-licensing agreement involving Wildform’s Flix Flash video encoding software and On2’s VP6 and VP7 codecs which are to be used in Macromedia’s new Flash 8 product.
