QuickTime 6 with Flash 5

Some weeks ago, Apple released the 'Public Preview' of Quicktime 6. QuickTime 6 will support Flash 5 files with virtually all functions.

QuickTime 5 supported version 4 of the SWF specification with a few exeptions (loadMovie and printing). We just got this from an Apple Press representative: 'QuickTime 6 supports Flash 5 and it supports all of the major features in Flash 5.

Minor differences in the QuickTime implementation of Flash that may be relevant to the Flash community are:

1) Features that exchange data with a server through HTTP POST do not work. Those through HTTP GET do work.

2) Relative URLs in a .swf file are interpreted relative to the location of the .swf file in QuickTime while it is relative to the location of the enclosing page in Flash Plug-in.'

There's no documentation on Apples developer site at the moment, but this will arrive 'soon'.
